ReceptionistJob Purpose:
Responsible for handling phone calls, greeting visitors and providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department and OrganizationFLSA Status:
Non-ExemptJob Duties/
Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming calls on switchboard and manage incoming call volume by routing callers and visitors to the appropriate person or destination Greet and welcome visitors and customers in professional manner Front desk and lobby area maintenance keeping the receptionist area neat and orderly since it is the first impression for the Company Assist other departments with general administrative duties (i.
e.
meetings, scheduling, copying, filing, ordering supplies/materials, etc.
) Performs administrative duties for Human Resources Department (i.
e.
recording vacation, processing 401k documentation, benefit processing, filing, employee recognition, etc.
).
May work on assignments that are sensitive/confidential in nature Coordinates many high priority items at once.
Handles special projects for management and staff Creates and maintains excel spreadsheets for vacation and attendance, Affirmative Action and other related reports Interfaces with all other departments regarding phone management and administrative support Professional positive demeanor and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures Other tasks as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience At least 3 years' experience handling a multi-phone system with administrative support required Experience in manufacturing environment a plus Must have professional demeanor, be dependable, flexible and able to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities in a fast paced environment Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Must possess strong computer skills and Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) Familiarity with MRP systems ( Made2Manage knowledge) a plus Familiarity of manufacturing methods preferred Oral and written communication skills required for interaction with vendors, customers and company personnel along with organizational and time management abilities Must be proficient in accuracy and attention to detail Please note:
